Privacy policy

Curated Property is operated by Curated Capital FZE LLC (“we”, “us”), a company licensed in the Ajman Media City Free Zone, United Arab Emirates. We decide how and why your personal information is used, and we are responsible for it.

We handle personal information in line with UAE data protection law. If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, we also follow the UK and EU General Data Protection Regulation in how we handle yours.

If you join the launch list: your email address, that you ticked the consent box, and when.

If you send us an enquiry through a form on this site: your name, email address, and anything else you choose to give us, such as a phone number, a message, the development you asked about and how you prefer to be contacted. We also record the page you started from and any campaign tags in the link you followed, so we know which of our pages and campaigns reach people.

If you email us: your email address and whatever you write.

When you visit the site: our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, including your IP address and browser type. When you submit a form, we briefly store your IP address to limit repeated submissions from the same place.

• To email you when Curated launches, and to send new buyer guides, if you joined the launch list.
• To answer your enquiry or email, and to follow it up.
• To keep the site working and secure, and to stop spam and abuse of its forms.
• To understand, in aggregate, how people find and use the site, if you allow analytics cookies.

Our basis for the launch list is your consent. For enquiries it is taking the steps you asked us to take before any agreement. For logs, security and abuse prevention it is our legitimate interest in running a safe website. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decisions about you.

We use a small number of service providers who process personal information on our behalf and only on our instructions:

• Resend, which holds the launch list and sends our emails.
• Supabase, which hosts our database, including enquiries.
• Vercel, which hosts this website.
• PostHog, for website analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies.
• Our email provider, for messages you send to hello@curatedim.com.

Some of these providers store or process information outside the country you are in, including in the United States. Where that happens we rely on their contractual commitments to protect it. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

The site sets one cookie without asking: it records your answer to the cookie banner, so we do not ask again, and it lasts a year.

If you accept analytics, PostHog sets its own cookies and we set an anonymous identifier, both lasting up to a year. If you decline, none of them are set and no analytics script runs.

The site also keeps the first page you visited and any campaign tags in your browser’s local storage. It stays on your device and is only sent to us if you submit an enquiry. You can clear it, and all cookies, in your browser settings.

• The launch list: until you unsubscribe, or until we close the list.
• Enquiries and emails: for as long as we are dealing with you, and afterwards only for as long as we need to for legal, accounting or dispute purposes.
• IP addresses used to limit form submissions: a short period, after which they are deleted automatically.
• Server logs: for the retention period our hosting provider applies.

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or transfer it to someone else. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

Every email from the launch list has an unsubscribe link. For anything else, email hello@curatedim.com and we will reply within 30 days. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can also complain to the data protection authority where you live.

Information is sent to us over encrypted connections and held with providers who secure their systems to recognised standards. Access within our team is limited to people who need it to do their job.

We will update this policy when Curated launches and whenever the way we handle personal information changes. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
